“God is in the details.” – Mies van der Rohe

Designing a home is about so much more than just creating a space - it’s about weaving together the details that tell a story, honour the past, and stand the test of time.
In this interior project, we had the privilege of working on a historic property, blending timeless elegance with thoughtful design. One detail we’re particularly proud of is the cornice lighting. Made from 3 separate profiles over a timber frame, it was seamlessly married up to a new ceiling. Hidden LED customisable coloured lighting in the lower section can be adjusted via light switches or an app, allowing for a dynamic, personalised touch.
Additionally, the fireplace was existing, and we sourced a matching marble for the hearth, which is set flush with the timber floor and a bronze transition strip, tying together the design beautifully.

It’s these moments in design, where form and function meet, that remind us how powerful the smallest details can be.
